How laser cleaning works?
Fiber laser cleaning works by using a focused, high-powered laser beam to break molecular bonds and vaporize unwanted surface coatings (impurities). The surface material is beamed by a powerful laser, which generates heat-induced pressure. The high temperature inside the material creates high pressure that causes it to evaporate.
Virtually no waste material is generated during laser cleaning as the surface material particles evaporate. The laser beam is adjustable from low to high power, enabling this non-contact and non-abrasive cleaning method to be very gentle and safe on the surface material.
